1) Before photo with broken centrals and open bite. The teeth to be whitened were cleaned and bleached before veneer laminate preparation. 2) Then the facial depth cut for porcelain laminate veneer on #9. 3) Next initial preparation on #8 and #9. 4) Then final preparation of #8 and #9. 5) Slightly reducing contact with sandpaper strip. 6) Retraction cord packed before impression. 7) Final porcelain veneer laminates. 8) Lastly the porcelain veneer laminates cemented.

Porcelain Veneers were placed on the upper four teeth. Professional office teeth whitening was also performed.

Whitening should be performed before the veneers were made. Note that the “gummy” smile has been eliminated. Teeth whitening should used to obtain a desirable overall teeth color before making porcelain veneers or crowns. Tooth whitening bleach should not be applied to any dental porcelain. Note the gums were also raised to reduce the “gummy” smile.
