Could toothpaste tubes be bacterial reservoirs?
I haven’t seen an article on the subject.

People should consider using smaller toothpaste tubes so they are discarded frequently like toothbrushes.

It might also be wise to avoid cross-contamination by not sharing toothpaste tubes.

We will be happy to publish any research on this subject.
