Porcelain veneers used for teeth whitening
May 9, 2012 3:59 pmIt is important to note the stump shade (the color of the teeth after veneer preparation) when writing the prescription for the dental laboratory porcelain ceramist. Note how dark these teeth were. The porcelain ceramist needed to build extra opacity into the porcelain substructure (in this case using Zirconium) to hide this dark gray-yellow color. This procedure took two visits.
