Sometimes dental braces can’t move teeth!
March 7, 2012 6:32 pmThis patient was referred to us by her general dentist. She had been wearing braces for over three years trying to get both second premolar teeth to move into the dental arch. During that time, these teeth did not move at all. Sometimes teeth may be fused to the bone, ankylosis, and will never move. It is time to remove the braces and try something else! In this case we recommended to extract both teeth and place dental implants.
